Bangui is sparsely populated and many residents earn barely enough from picking pebbles to be sold for various purposes. There is a vision of building a visitor center in Bangui. The visitor center will house a cafeteria, conference halls, and will also serve as a one-stop-shop information center and gift store. Once completed, the visitor center will transform tourism in the area and uplift the community.

How to get there

Located between Pagudpud and Burgos in Ilocos Norte, Bangui is 64 kilometers north of Laoag City and about 280 kilometers from San Fernando City, La Union, the capital of Region I.
