• Cheaper power for the Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative (INEC)
  • For the year 2006, savings of INEC from NorthWind supply passed on to consumers reached PhP 69.38 million.
    

• Funding for local community projects
  • For every kHh energy delivered by NorthWind, one centavo is allotted for the benefit of the host community

• Employment and job opportunities
  • Employment was provided to local residents during construction of the wind plant
  • Visitors attracted by the picturesque and towering wind turbines indicates further potential for tourism
